Holistic wellness is my passion, and pilates is more than just movement—it’s guidance, trust, and feeling safe in your own body.  With over 13 years dedicated to learning, teaching, and refining this craft, my greatest success is helping my clients succeed.

About

My name is Fiona MacInnes

I’m a qualified Personal Trainer with a passion for fitness, endurance running, and holistic movement. Since 2013, I’ve built a strong foundation in strength, conditioning, and body awareness that informs all my work.

In 2014, I completed an intensive Pilates Diploma with Hanson Pilates, later specializing in pre- and post-natal Pilates and small equipment work. I continue to advance my practice through Lolita’s Legacy, rooted in the original work of Joseph Pilates. Lolita San Miguel, one of only two instructors personally certified by him, created this program, where I study the full classical repertoire across Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Wunda Chair—each offering unique ways to support and strengthen the body.

I’m also an experienced runner, having completed multiple half and full marathons, as well as my first ultra marathon in 2023, and I’m qualified in Sports Massage to help clients with performance and recovery.

Pilates, to me, is a practice developed through consistency, experience, and ongoing learning. I prioritise in-person education and mentorship so every client can move safely, confidently, and at their own level. The classes and training I offer are all based in Oban, Argyll. 

Services

I offer a range of personalized fitness and wellness sessions designed to help you move stronger, feel confident, and support your body’s health:

  • Personal Training – Tailored strength, conditioning, and endurance programs to suit your goals.

  • Mat Pilates – Group sessions focused on core strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

  • Reformer Pilates – Private 1:1 sessions or group classes using the Reformer for a full-body, low-impact workout.

  • Wunda Chair Pilates – Specialized sessions on the Wunda Chair to enhance balance, strength, and coordination.

  • Sports Massage – Targeted treatment to aid recovery, improve performance, and relieve tension.

Every session is designed with your individual needs in mind, combining expertise, guidance, and a focus on long-term wellness.

It’s been a while since I have done any exercise, years since I did Pilates but Fiona was very welcoming and reassuring all of the way through the Yoga/Pilates class. It was a relaxed and friendly class and Fiona was very professional with keeping my knee issues in mind, giving me adaptations when necessary. I’m so happy to be back doing exercise with Fiona, looking forward to seeing my strength and mobility improve
